This yea’s theme is “The Art of Crystals”. Swarovski invited a special guest, XIONG Dailin, to attend the show. She appeared in the show in a glittering crystal crown and a pair of bracelets like a “domineering queen” with authority. At the event, XIONG Dailin was given a special crystal wedding flower ball. This Global Fashion Jewellery Show has highlighted Swarovski’s long tradition of creative collaboration, presented the fashion jewelries created by the world’s top design talents with Swarovski elements in an inspiring expression, and demonstrated an unparalleled artistic talent and exquisite craftsmanship.

Two of the highlights in this year’s Global Fashion Jewellery Show are “Sundew” by artist WU Yanling, who brought her unique style into the design and incorporated elements of textile, electronics, and simulation biology into this interactive artwork, and ‘The Shaping Grows’ created by British designers Ruth Jarman and Joe Gerhardt. They created stunning underground mineral crystal caves on computers with control of seismic data collected from around the world.

After the opening ceremony on June 23, the Global Fashion Jewellery Show will be open to the public for two weeks.
