On a fine autumn day of October 27th, 2019, the National Stadium was filled with laughter and happiness, making this lovely day in the golden season colorful and warm.

Initiated by Ms. Qian Wei, wife of the State Councilor and Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi, the international charity bazaar under the theme of “Love Without Borders: Run to Give” was held at the National Stadium. After being held for 11 consecutive sessions, the event attracted representatives from nearly 90 foreign embassies and international organizations in China, as well as nearly 50 China-funded businesses and public institutions.

The splendid Chinese martialarts performance and the traditional exotic dance performance of Pakistan and Azerbaijan unveiled the charity bazaar. Foreign embassies and international organizations in China as well as international philanthropists have long been supportive of China’s poverty alleviation cause. 

Over the past decade, this international charity bazaar, functioning as a window that showcases the diverse cultures in the world, has harvested remarkable fruits and provided all participants an opportunity to donate. The donations are used in the public benefit and poverty alleviation causes in Yunnan, Gansu, Henan, Guizhou, and Guangxi. With this international charity bazaar platform, the worldwide love is passed on to the villagers, the disabled, and the children in thepoverty-stricken areas, lighting the beacon of hope for their life and helping to change their destiny.

As an international business,SAGA participated in this international bazaar and donated all the earnings made at the event. The donations would be used to build sports grounds for schools in the Jinping County and Malipo County in Yunnan by the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation.
