On April 29, 2019, Dailywin Watch and SPACEnter Space Science and Technology Institute (Shenzhen Southern Institute of Space Science and Technology) held a signing ceremony for formal cooperation at the headquarters of Dailywin Watch Group. WONG, President of Hong Kong Association for the Advancement of Science and Technology, GAO Kelin, Head of department of SPACEnter Space Science and Technology Institute, Mr. Harley Seyedin, President of American Chamber of Commerce in South China, Mr. HE Xiaodong, Director of Key Laboratory of National Defense Science and Technology for Special Environmental Composites Technology of Harbin Institute of Technology, Mr. JC, Senior Vice President of Hong Kong-Switzerland Trust Company of Swiss Movado Group, Eddie Leung (Chinese name LIANG Weihao), Chairman of SAGA Watch, LIU Ren, General Manager of SAGA Watch, and Diego Böttger, SAGA’s Chief Design Director and international design master, attended the signing ceremony. SPACEnter Space Science and Technology Institute authorized Dongguan Dailywin Watch Co., Ltd. as the sole partner for the development, production, sales and related derivatives of the aerospace series commemorative watches. In the future, the two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation in the fields of product research and development, technology upgrade and material innovation, and seek common development and common growth. The ceremony also released the brand new SAGA Space series commemorative watches, witnessing that SAGA Watch has embarked on a new journey of “space exploration”.

Join Forces to Support Flourishing of China’s Aerospace Industry
It is understood that the cooperation agreement signed this time includes all-round multi-angle cooperation in various fields such as products, technologies and services. In terms of technology research and development, the two sides will jointly explore how to apply more and better quality aerospace materials to watchmaking; jointly develop a new space-themed watch and enrich the SAGA Space series of commemorative products. In terms of brand promotion, the two sides will promote the spirit of China’s space exploration and the exquisite craftsmanship of watchmaking to every corner of the world based on the geographical advantages of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, with influence extending to the whole country and the rest of the world.
At the ceremony, Dailywin Watch Group also launched three new SAGA Space series commemorative watches. SAGA’s Chief Design Director and international design master Diego Böttger and SAGA’s General Manager LIU Ren explained the different design concepts of these three watches.

The first SAGA Space series commemorative watch is called Long March Courage. The left side of the dial of SAGA Space Series Long March Courage Watch is an aerial view of the launch tower of space rockets, the right side represents the moon, which signifies the wonderful connection between human beings on the Earth and the once unreachable space.

The second SAGA Space series commemorative watch is called Tiangong Exploration. This watch is an extension of the Long March Courage Watch with two different models, one is hollowed-out and the other shows the vast starry sky on the bottom of the watch. Its dial gives you the illusion of really standing on the space station.

The third SAGA Space series commemorative watch is called Shenzhou Pride. Inspiration of the dial comes from the mysterious and beautiful moon. The simple and elegant arc is just like the surface of the moon from which the vastness of the universe could be observed. In the long river of time, every minute and every second seems even more cherished.

As a main product launched by SAGA Watch in 2019, SAGA Space series has all been made of high-tech materials in aerospace industry, including a high-strength, high-modulus new fiber material (Carbon Fiber) with a carbon content above 95%; 904L steel with excellent wear and corrosion resistance, as well as aerospace-grade materials such as titanium alloy. This constant pursuit and challenge of high quality is only for the purpose of bringing the most cutting-edge quality and experience to consumers, and at the same time, it is this spirit of exploration that drives Dailywin Watch Group to make new milestones on the path of building famous national brands.
Benefiting the Public, Social Responsibilities Not Been Forgotten in Corporate Development
As an enterprise regarding social responsibility as the biggest motives of growth, Dailywin Watch Group has been paying great attention to giving back to the society with its strength while rapidly developing its core business. “Culture of Horology and Time Science Museum” is one of them. It is understood that the museum is a scientific venue jointly built by Dailywin Watch Group and the National Time Service Center, CAS, for the purpose of charitable science popularization. The goal is to become a science popularization hot spot in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and to become an important node of “the Belt and Road Time-Space Science and Technology Tourism Base”.

Foundation Ceremony of “Culture of Horology and Time Science Museum” was also held on that day. This charity project was strongly supported by government leaders and many experts and scholars. At the foundation ceremony, Eddie Leung, Chairman of SAGA Watch, and LIU Ren, General Manager of SAGA Watch, respectively issued Letter of Appointment of Expert/Consultant to these experts and scholars (List attached on the last page).

Eddie Leung said: “The ‘Culture of Horology and Time Science Museum’ covers an area of about 2,000-3,000 m2. In addition to the field of time science, it also covers watch culture, time science, watch development and watch design. It is an important base for public science education. We hope that the public can experience the profoundness of Chinese culture in addition to the frontier technology, enhance the sense of national identity and patriotism, and achieve ‘cultural self-awareness, cultural self-improvement and cultural self-confidence’!”
